Ceramiweld is a revolutionary ceramic product that is without equal. It uses a ceramic impregnated weld. It can be applied to any parent weldable surface including all grades of stainless and aluminum.

Ceramiweld is a fused composite matrix containing up to 90% ceramic and is metallurgically bonded to the substrate.

Unlike rubber, urethane ceramic tiles or trowelables, it cannot be delaminated from the substrate in any type of service because of the metallurgical bond. The Ceramiweld process permits coatings to be applied from ¼”up to unlimited thicknesses in any contour or shape. Special coatings for dredging are designed to suit the application.

Ceramiweld is one of the few products that can be repaired by restoring the initial coating without any compromise to service life. Unlike many materials everything left in the casing is reusable. A non-intrusive weld is utilized so components such as manganese or chrome white iron castings are easily repaired without the risk of shrinking or cracking often associated with conventional stick-weld hardfacing methods.

There are many types of ceramics such as tiles, trowelables, etc, however there is only one Ceramiweld.

Castings work well with Ceramiweld because it easily conforms to irregular surfaces. With our non-intrusive weld, components such as stainless or chrome white iron castings are easily repaired, without the risk of shrinking and cracking often associated with conventional stick-weld hardfacing methods.

Other applications are wood chip fans, wear backs, liquor tanks, barker and hog screws to mention a few. Even castings with holes in them can in most instances be repaired. It is the only product on the market that will permit ongoing repairs.
