Cast Drag chains can be manufactured for a variety of drag conveying applications. They are stronger than welded steel chain and can provide the lowest operating cost per hour. Although primarily used in the cement industry we are also very capable of producing chain for sewage treatment or pulp and paper. Whether your problem is due to a PH over 12 or temperatures over 800 degrees C we can provide an alloy for your requirement.
Unlike welded chain, the flexibility of alloy selection is limitless. Pins are made from a minimum 4140 induction hardened material. The advantage of the induction-hardening process is that it provides the pin with a super tough skin on top of our ductile 4140 core. They are manufactured in North America and may have a variety of attachments that can be cast directly on the chain.
